GST authorities can provisionally attach business bank accounts and property under Section 83 of the CGST Act to protect government revenue during specified proceedings. However, the attachment must meet legal requirements and cannot continue beyond one year. Businesses can challenge unlawful attachments through objections under Rule 159 or appropriate High Court proceedings.
GST Appellate Tribunal appeals allow taxpayers to challenge adverse GST orders involving tax demands, input tax credit, refunds and penalties. Successful appeals require compliance with limitation periods, pre deposit requirements and filing procedures. Taxpayers may also seek further remedies before the High Court or Supreme Court, subject to statutory conditions.

However, commissions, intermediary services and related activities may attract GST depending on their classification and place of supply. Businesses must also comply with applicable FEMA and RBI regulations.
